We fund research and support families to access clinical trials for children.

Story

18-19th August I will be attempting to cycle from York to London in under 24 hours. This will be a physically and mentally gruelling challenge and by far the toughest I have ever undertaken. To put this into perspective, I will have travelled a distance equivalent to 2-3 tour de france stages in less than a day.

I  will be doing this to try to raise money for one of my sisters classmates Jamie Inglis. Jamie is a 6 year old boy with neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.

He has beaten the disease once but sadly the cancer has come back. Jamie’s immediate treatment will be radiotherapy and chemotherapy to try and get the disease under control. As we do not have any relapse treatment protocols in the UK, Jamie’s best chance of beating neuroblastoma is to travel abroad for treatment.

His best hope for survival lies in Germany. The treatment Jamie needs costs £250,000 and will not be funded by the NHS which is why he needs your support.

If you can help, please make a donation to the Neuroblastoma Alliance UK, or organise a fundraising event to raise money for Jamie's Appeal. Please give as much as you can afford to help save Jamie and other children like him. Every donation for Jamie, no matter how small, helps.
