£3139 raised so far! Fantastic events... Rowing challenge, China Room ladies lunch and charity evening, bag packing and car boot!

In Sept 2013 we a group of 8 motivated individuals plan to embark on a physical and mental challenge of a lifetime to raise funds for a wonderful charity Wigan and Leigh Hospice. The Hospice provides an outstanding level of support to patients and their families at a time in their lives when they need it most. Many of the group have very personal reasons for this challenge and few people in Wigan and Leigh borough have been unaffected by the amazing work of the Hospice. We are about to start a gruelling 12 months of fundraising activites whilst preparing for this extrememly physical challenge at high altitude. Please help us to raise our target of £20k then we can help others at their time of need. Our challenge in the Himalayas will involve Treking at high altitude for up to 8 hours per day in difficult terrain, dealing with extreme heat and cold and camping in this immense wilderness.  Any amount no matter how small will be appreciated.
