Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am the Chief Inspector for Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire and have worked for the RSPCA for 17 years. Throughout my career I have witnessed cruelty and neglect at its worst and care and rehabilitation at its best.I have included photographs of "Trudi" a recent case dog I dealt with.Trudi was subjected to regular brutal and ferocious beatings by her owner.Thankfully we were able to rescue her from that torture and she is now in a loving home. Her owner was successfully prosecuted and received a lengthy custodial sentance. I am now responsible for a team of hard-working and dedicated officers who work on the frontline in the never-ending fight against cruelty to animals.
Along with fifteen of my colleagues, I am going to attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the world's largest free-standing mountain. This will be no mean feat, even with my big feet! But I am determined to complete it and raise as much as I possibly can.
I appreciate that times are hard for all of us, but the very fact that you have visited my page shows that you would like to support my colleagues and I in trying to make a difference to the lives of countless animals who cannot speak for themselves. So on behalf of them and all my colleagues who work so hard for them a big thank you for your brilliant donation!
