Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was at uni when i found out about the Dig Deep charity climb of Mt Kilimanjaro, and I remember thinking that would be great fun. After reading about the work being done by Dig Deep and the goals they are working so hard to reach that thought of "fun" became a passionate drive to do my part to contribute to this amazing cause.
Millions of people in Africa do not have the privilages we all so easily forget are privilages in our day to day lives. Many of these people do not even have the basic requirements for survival such as water in a country where temperatures regularly reach 30+ degrees C on a daily basis. Imagine trying to live in these conditions of no food, no water, and no oportunity to learn due to the lack of time and availability for education. Imagine these conditions not only for adults, but for small children and little babies. Dig Deep is working on a number of projects that are progressing to change these conditions. Water supplies are being made for each village, education is being given in farming and sustainability of food and crop, hundreds of schools are being built where children can learn, play, stay and finally feel happiness, finally feel what it is to be a child and see life in their beautiful and free perspective.
But all this can only happen if we make the first step to help them. As Neil Armstrong said when he landed on the Moon "One small step for man, One giant leap for man-kind". Make those words count for you personally.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you.
