Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Law at Work 10-4-10 Challenge page for CCLASP.

The team at Law at Work will be walking, swimming, running and cycling 10,000 miles in 2012 to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.  As part of this challenge the team aim's to raise £1,900 for CCLASP in Edinburgh.

The money raised by the Law at Work team will be used to pay for (4 laptops for families with children suffering with cancer and leukaemia which will be a vital resource for them at a very difficult time in their lives.  Many of the young people diagnosed with these illnesses are absent from school for extended periods of time whilst they are undergoing treatment.  As a result they often feel very isolated from the outside world.  The laptops are used to assist them with their education and to help them communicate with friends when confined to hospital.  The laptops also allow families to access information about the illness.
