Story

As many of you are aware sadness fell upon my family last December when we were told at our 12 week scan that our beautiful baby was to perfect for this world and had died. In a split second our future plans and the baby that we loved and connectioned with was gone. Two days until christmas and a toddler wanting to see santa, we had to face the world and give our little girl the christmas she deserved. When all i could think about was my babies silent body lying sleeping inside me. Our treatment was carried out between Christmas and New Year and the following day i was discharged and could go home to my husband and little girl, a family member missing. Returning home was one of the hardest things weve ever had to do. Being at home felt strangely uncomfortable as memories of planning our future on the sofa with my hubby and little girl haunted me. Our familys and friends flooded us with love and support but as far as professional help was concerned, we had none. After this we were alone. It still hurts like it happened this morning but weve learnt to accept that life goes on. I am doing this calendar with some of the fantastic ladies ive met through the miscarriage association to fund future support for familys but also for our beautiful angel, who as my little girl says is playing at heavens house. Anyone who truely knows me will appreciate how hard this is going to be for me as i dont have huge amounts of body confidence. Please please i am reaching out to you all. Please donate to this very worthy cause. £1 makes a massive massive difference.
