I'm going to need some help with motivation: what suggestions do people have for a play list to keep me going? I think "encore un fois" by Sash is a good starting place!

That's it! Last training session at the wall, time to rest and prepare for the big day now! 3 days to go!!

Just had a good morning: outdoor training run and interview with local newspapers from Darlington and Stockton. 4 days to go!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I live in Knaresborough and I'm a GP in neighbouring Ripon at North House Surgery. I've also been a keen climber for many years and was inspired to do something to help by my own son. He raised money by going to school dressed as a doctor to help Sadie Rose. I thought I could do something too.

So on 29th March 2012, I'm aiming to climb 1000m at Harrogate Climbing Centre at Hornbeam Park in Harrogate in aid of the Sadie Rose Appeal. I hope to raise£1500.

That's equivalent to climbing the tower of York minster 20 times or 3 Eiffel towers!
I hope to complete this challenge in 6 hours or less and during that time I will be climbing on vertical or overhanging walls.
This is nothing compared to the challenges that Sadie Rose and her family face as a result of her illness and it is really important that people give whatever they can to support her, no matter how small the amount.
