Story

Thanks for taking time to visit our Justgiving page.

Vanessa Riddle lives in Troon, South Ayrshire, and is 11 years old. In Dec 2011, Vanessa was devastated to find out her Neuroblastoma had relapsed, it’s a kind of CANCER that mainly affects young children and babies.

Brave Vanessa has endured lots of different cancer treatments in the UK — but the neuroblastoma has returned, and now Vanessa’s best chance of beating this awful cancer lies in America.

Vanessa’s mum and dad hope that she can start her specialised therapy in America early this year. This potentially life-saving treatment is likely to cost at least £500,000. Vanessa’s friends and family aim to raise as much money as possible for the life-saving treatment.

So, 9 "strapping" lads from Troon and Kilmarnock have accepted the challenge of CYCLING 57 MILES AROUND THE ISLE OF ARRAN ON SUNDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2012.....

Come on... Please help us give Vanessa the lifeline that she so desperately needs by helping us BEAT our target of £2000.
