I've been raising money to support the Young Archaeologists' Club.   Run by the educational charity the Council for British Archaeology, YAC is the only UK-wide organistion that helps young people to access archaeology.   The Club's local Branches provide exciting hands-on activities for children from all backgrounds and of all abilities, helping them to follow their archaeological dreams.   I've been raising money to Dig Deep for YAC!  http://www.yac-uk.org/yaccampaign

The YAC Roman Walk team of eight newly-recruited legionaries marched six circuits of York town walls on 1 February; that's 15 miles of hard walking and we just finished the last lap ahead of the man with keys shutting down the gates and bars as the sun started to set.   You can see a great set of photos and even some video here: http://www.yac-uk.org/yaccampaign/events/romans
