Yes it's true, I'm off on another walk in Mumbai, on 2 October, this time to walk 10K for charity, and to meet enrepreneurial kids making toys from trash. With the help of The British Asian Trust, The Sharma Foundation is working on a project which uses creative, digital and media education resources to allow young people to experience what life is really like in the slums of Mumbai.

These videos will be made with help from Toybank and will form a core part of that learning experience. Hopefully they will raise awareness of the situations that those in poverty face, while inspiring young people to make a difference through their own innovative skills - embedding social entrepreneurship as a core value. 

 

The more learning resource we can create, the more schools we can work with here..spreading our message and bringing UK schools onboard to help make a difference to the lives of slum dwellers through school based and university based fundraising projects.
