We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page....this is my story.

My step-grandmother lived out the last few years of her life suffering with dementia, and I have seen first hand how this affected not only her, but also family and friends.

By taking on the challenge of climbing to the summit of the highest freestanding mountain in the world, I hope to play a small part in helping to improve the lives of other people suffering from dementia.

I was fortunate enough to visit East Africa nearly 25 years ago, and was able to view Mount Kilimanjaro from the Kenyan plains to the north. To be able to return again to conquer the summit, and to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer's Society would be a fantastic achievement.

Please help me to make a real difference to dementia sufferers by donating today.
