Myself and 31 Squadron are heading out to Afghanistan for four months with the RAF and in this time we hope to cover 31,000 miles and raise £31,000 for Help for Heroes. We will be doing this through running, cycling and rowing with all our distances being recorded throughout.

I personally plan to ride to work and back everyday in the ridiculous heat and seriously dusty surroundings, no air con gym for me. I plan to cover at least a 1000 miles. Myself and the rest of the Goldstars would greatly appreciate any donations and rest assured your money is going to whole variety of people affected by the ongoing conflicts of today.
