YES! I'M CRAZY... but please dig deep down into your pockets and give a little to save our great giants of the oceans!

Being such a keen explorer from a very young age, I have trekked in the Andes and throughout Snowdonia National Park, but now I want to experience something bigger. I have been given the opportunity to join a small goup of people, including my brother and my dad, to trek up Mt. Toubkal in Morocco, Africa. At 4167m, this is the highest peak in North Africa. This will be a huge personal challenge for me, not only being the only female member of the group!!! but enduring some of the worse weather conditions of the year on the mountain. We will be trekking mid winter in February, so learning how to use crampons and ice axes will be my first challenge.
 

I want to be able to share this experience with everybody I know and give something back to the community by raising money for some very deserved causes which mean alot to me:

BDMLR - British Divers Marine Life Rescue work around the clock responding to call outs of live stranded marine mammals around the UK coastline. Volunteers are trained as marine mammal medics around the country to provide first aid care to these animals in the hope they can be returned to our seas. The work they do is critical for protecting our marine life and together we can build a better understanding of their behaviour and use this knowledge to help prevent these stranding cases in the future.

Any money raised for BDMLR will help buy the necessary equipment to aid medics in the field during responses (re-floatation pontoons, large mammal disentanglement kits, ribs etc) and ensure adiquate training for further volunteers.
