Story

On 16-18 June 2011 a team of 24 will embark on the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid ofLeukaemia and Lymphoma Research. This is primarily in memory of Henry Hodge, co-founder of HJA, however many of the team have their own personal tragic connections with the disease.

A round trip from Camden of 1350 miles and a total climb of 11,000ft will test mental as well as physical strength to the core! The first peak is Ben Nevis, the tallest peak in the Scottish Highlands, then Scafell Pike, the highest the Lake District has to offer, followed by Mt Snowdon in North Wales.

The team lead by HJA's Senior Partner, Patrick Allen, consists of half HJA staff and half friends of the firm:

HJA staff: Patrick Allen, Alexander Hulbert, Tim Greaves, Michael Ackah, Anna Thwaites, Emma Wray, Nicholas Dent, Angela Sharma, Hannah Sellars, Cormac Hughes, Shazia Yamin, Sasha Barton, Andrew Ewbank

Guests: Steve Connelly (Get More Local), Wayne King (7 Bedford Row Chambers), Mark Waterson (7 Bedford Row Chambers), Michael Lynch (L.B. Havering), Alex Cumming (L.B. Havering), Lorna McIlwaine (Paramedic), Richard Reynolds (Tooks Chambers), Richard Roger (Hailsham Chambers), Nick Watson (Hodge family), Judith Hunt (Driver), Amy Hodge (Driver)

Our ambitious target is to raise £12,000 as we want to make this event as worthwhile as possible for the charity. Any donations will be greatly received. Thank you
