Story
So we started this Aspire Swim challenge last year before lockdown.
22 miles to swim across the English channel to France (in the pool of course) in 12 weeks.
As Taijo swims 🏊🏽♂️ on average half a mile during his swim lessons each week, and I swim 🏊♀️ 5 miles per week we knew we could not only swim 22 miles, but set ourself a target of doubling the challenge to 44 miles in the space of 12 weeks (minus the lockdown)🤦♀️
I am pleased to say we've made it to France 🇫🇷 and we are just short of half mile back to the UK 🇬🇧 which I'm rooting for Taijo to cross that line today during his swim lesson.
Thank you to those who have donated and shared so far 💖💯🙏. This has not only pushed my personal limits, it has also taught Taijo about raising money, having an awarness and giving back to others, he's even donating £5 of his pocket money when we reach the finish line (hopefully today)🤗🙌
The just giving link will still be live for another week (see below), if anyone still wanted to give Taijo that final push to cross the finish line 🤞🏼🤞🏼.

I'm taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2020, swimming the distance of the English Channel over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. Every four hours someone is paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice and housing that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently. This is a big challenge, but the more I raise, the more of a difference I'll make, so please be generous!
