Raising funds for Melanoma Research

Story

As most of you know, running isn't my favourite pastime. I would much rather be climbing over hay bales, wading through rivers or crawling through muddy ditches. But for my wonderful friend Shiona, who has been battling stage 4 melanoma for the last few years, I will do whatever it takes to raise more funds to support on-going melanoma research and treatments which keep Shiona alive. So I signed up for the Royal Parks Half Marathon. After all it's only a couple of hours out of my weekend and I have been assured that it's a very scenic course through London!

All money raised will be going directly to support on-going melanoma research and treatments led by the world renowned Professor James Larkin at The Royal Marsden.

You can keep up to date and follow Shiona's story at: https://shomelanoma.com

Any donations, no matter the amount are hugely appreciated and will spur me on to cross the finish line! Thank you.
