Story

On the 18th October F.Brennan, R.O’hara, C. McClafferty, A.Naylor, F.Ream, D. Burstin, B.Keers, A.Lee, K.Lockey, S.Richardson and J.Harris will be taking on the Big-Boom 24 hour Spinathon Challenge, alongside many others in an effort to raise money for  ‘My Name’s Doddie foundation’.

Boom Cycle London and The Doddie Weir Foundation have joined up to raise money to beat Motor Neurone Disease (MND). A terminal illness which affects the brain and nerve cells. Sufferers life expectancies are shortened to years. There is no cure. But with your support we can help find the world find one. An ambition also shared by The Doddie Weir Foundation.

Thank you for your time and your support!

WHY MND:

In early 2019, our dear friend Simon Brennan was diagnosed with progressive Motor Neurone Disease. He has thrown himself into raising money for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation (https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/), which raises funds
for research into the disease and provides financial support for those suffering from MND. Some of Simon's previous fundraising efforts and national
press coverage can be seen here:

Now, we have partnered with the great people at Boom Cycle (https://www.boomcycle.co.uk/) who will host a 24 hour spinathon starting at 7pm on the 18th October at their studio in Waterloo. We will have two sets of riders. The competitive teams of six will ride, in pairs and in two hour shifts, unbroken for 24 hours. The non-competitive teams can have a team of as many people as they like up to 24 people doing an hour each! Friends and family are most welcome to support at any time!

Boom Cycle have kindly offered to provide food and refreshments as well as shower facilities, sleeping space and towels. Plus they will host the afterparty once the ride is over! Come and be a part of something amazing and please give generously to help put an end to this disease once and for all!

IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART whether as a team, a small group or an individual, please contact me (07949793807 or ali.craggs@gmail.com) and I will answer any and all of your
questions.

IF YOU WANT TO BE A CORPORATE SPONSOR please contact Michael Goodall (on 0019179932857 or at Mrmgoodall@icloud.com) who will be able to provide you with details of our sponsorship packages.
