So.....I will be taking part in the Grand Depart Classic, riding the whole of the second road stage of the 2022 Tour de France, the day  before the pros (stage 1 is a 13km time trial, nice as that would be not much of a challenge!).

I should have been riding the event in 2020 but of course like many things it did not happen due to COVID. Then it should of been 2021 but that didn’t happen either! So that means an extra 26km... it will be 183km of exposed windy sea front roads, hills sweat and tears. The time limit to complete the course is 12 hours. 

I’ve signed up to this as I met some inspirational riders in Brussels during the Grand Départ Classic 2019, many of whom are suffering with Prostate Cancer, and one of whom I now consider to be a close friend. I’d like to push myself to my limits and in order to help save men’s lives, but I need your help.
