I feel devastated whenever I hear about the famine and the loss of healthcare access in Syria, Yemen, Palestine and Gaza and I couldn't do anything to help. Or the natural disasters that hit Indonesia and other countries in crisis. 

As a Nurse who's inclined to provide care, and as a human being who in a day would find difficulty missing a meal, no clean water to drink or a roof for security, it's such a painful scene. 

And as a Muslim, it is my obligation to Allah to help in whatever means I can.

I am fortunate to have this opportunity through PennyAppeal's Emergency Response work, to use my enthusiasm in cycling at the PEDAL for SCOTLAND event on September 8, and raise funds to aid in their needs. 

The donations will go directly to PennyAppeal. Let's help this Islamic Charity provide more food packs and medical supplies to the countries under extreme conditions.
