I'm asking friends to join me for a local version of the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on  7 Sept 2019 as the final walk of my training for the real thing two weeks later.

While enjoying the scenery and benefiting from the exercise I am raising money for two good causes: Amanda's Appeal (supporting immunotherapy treatment for a very rare form of cancer) and the St. George's Cardio Rehab team (who have looked after my dear friend Sels after her heart attack).

Amanda  was diagnosed with a very rare form of liver cancer called Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma (FHCC). FHCC affects less than 200 people worldwide each year so existing research into effective treatments are limited. Her supporters are raising money to give Amanda access to treatments not available to her through the NHS.

I have moved from a crowdfunding page to this team page so that sponsors are given the option to add Gift Aid to donations. If you are a UK taxpayer, the value of your gift can be increased by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme at no extra cost to the donor.
