I'm joining my Sir Robert McAlpine colleagues on our charity bike ride  from Hemel Hempstead (heart / company head office) to Glasgow our spiritual (home / company founded) raising funds for Maggie's. 

It's 5 days of riding; and whilst you all know I do it for fun - this one is for a good charity!

Day 1 – Hemel Hempstead to Milton Keynes, Kettering and finally Leicester 

Day 2 – Leicester to Nottingham, Rotherham and finally Leeds 

Day 3 – Leeds to Harrogate, Richmond, Durham and finally Chester-le-Street 

Day 4 – Chester-le-Street to Newcastle,  Amble  Bamburgh and finally Berwick-upon-Tweed 

Day 5 - Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh, to Glasgow.

Last year, Maggie's had over 281,000 visits to its centre's from people with cancer and their family and friends.

Our Heart to Home ride will help to fund Maggie’s centres’ vital programme of essential drop-in, one-to-one and group support. This funding will help to ensure that they can continue to meet the ever-increasing demand for support at the centres nationwide. Every pound donated and raised will help to make the lives of people and families living with cancer better.
