Drinking dirty, diseased water is one of the most common causes of death in the developing world. However for us, water Alhamdulilah is incredibly accessible. The luxury of taps is a commodity for some and inshallah we will be walking for water so that the less fortunate wont have to. Penny Appeal has given us the opportunity to trek Mount Snowdon and for every £300 raised, a well will be made in a less fortunate community. As siblings we will inshallah be walking for water on behalf of our older brother Adam who passed away just over a year ago. Each of us aim to raise enough to build a total of three sustainable wells in his name inshallah as sadaqah jariyah. Through Penny Appeals Thirst Relief, wells are being built in countries around the world, providing safe water to drink, wash, wudu, clean, to grow crops and to hydrate animals. This can lead to healthier lives, a better chance to go to school or work.
