Hi everyone,

I will be trekking up Mount Snowdon on 29th June with Penny Appeal to raise money for their Thirst Relief campaign. The Thirst Relief project is installing wells in countries across Africa and Asia.

The money that I raise will be used to build a water well dedicated to my late grandfather. 

Every day thousands of people struggle to find access to simple necessities, like water. These people are being deprived of this basic human right, while we have clean water at our fingertips. Not having to experience the struggle ourselves makes us lack the understanding that there are people in dire need for even a small amount of the blessings we have been given. But the problem is real and you can be part of the solution. Donating money - even just a little - will make a massive difference to those that are less fortunate than us.

Every day around 4,000 children die from drinking diseased water. That’s ONE child every 20 seconds. Raising £300 will allow ONE well to be built in a deprived community however, the more money raised the more wells that can be built. (£300 = 1 Water Well). Every penny counts!
