I first started running in 2014 having never really done any before. From taking an asthma inhaler everyday and being only able to manage a few hundred yards I completed the Great South Run last year and now rarely need to use the inhaler that have had all my life. I am so pleased to have found running - the benefits are huge. 

The New Forest Half Marathon will be the furthest distance I have run to date, followed a month later by the Great South Run!

Paultons have just nominated Southampton Children's Hospital Charity as their premium charity partner this year and that coupled with the fact that the NHS have always been superb when we have needed them and they are currently helping colleagues and friends has spurred me on to use my upcoming runs to try and give something back.

Whatever you can give, be it a little or a lot, I know will be genuinely appreciated by the good people who work tirelessly to take care of us and our loved ones.
