Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m asking for your support to raise money for research into
this inherited debilitating genetic disorder.

With a team of others I intend to canoe 26 miles over 2 days
down (Well I hope it’s down, might take a bit longer if it’s the other way) the Wye river Herefordshire, on the 4th and 5th September 2019.

At 61 I haven’t been in a canoe since my high school canoe
club and won’t get much time for practice, but I feel that this cause is
important enough to stretch myself the whole distance.

This condition has struck members of my family and I have
seen first-hand the impact this has on all those affected.

Huntingdon’s disease is currently incurable, scientists around the world are researching ways to slow down or prevent it. There are also teams investigating new treatments to help with the symptoms.

So please help me raise as much as possible by clicking on the right hand side and just give what you can afford.
