This is part of the Penny Appeal 'Walk for Water' challenge, aiming to raise money to build wells for small communities in villages in Africa/Asia.

For millions of people around the world, getting clean water isn’t just a case of turning on the tap.

Globally, 663 million people live without easy access to clean water and 2.4 billion people lack access to improved sanitation facilities. (UNICEF)

By building the wells, it will provide reliable access to clean water.
These rural communities can then use the safe water for drinking, cooking, cleaning, water for their crops and animals.
