Story
Hi everyone,
I will be trekking up Mount Snowdon on 29th of June with Penny Appeal to raise money for their Thirst Relief campaign. The Thirst Relief project is installing wells in countries across Africa and Asia.
The £600 that I raise will be used to build water wells dedicated to my late grandfathers - Mohammed Latif and Mohammed Yousaf.
Water is something we often take for granted. It is readily available to us while for others, clean water is hard to come by.
With your help, we can bring clean water to rural communities - giving them access to safer drinking water. This would also allow them to cook, feed livestock and water crops without the threat of disease or illness.
Help make a difference today, every £300 raised builds one water well in a deprived community. Even a donation as small as £1 will result in a lasting impact.
Everyday around 4000 children die from drinking diseased infected water, that is one child every 20 seconds.
