Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year one of my best friend’s lost his Dad to Pulmonary Fibrosis, and for those who don’t know, it is a lung disorder that hardens the lungs over time. Breathing becomes painful  and life becomes impossible.

As you know I have the physique of a very large wart hog, so in a fit of lunacy I decided to support my friend and join the team in memory of ‘Papa Smurf’ or Bob to most people.

Having completed the London to Paris bike ride a couple of years ago (as the support minibus driver) I thought it was about time to step up and take on a challenge.

So any donation, be it a takeaway coffee size or something bigger you will be helping a relatively unknown condition get some much needed support.

Training has started and so have the comedy falls because I can’t get out of the clip in pedals.

As mentioned above I am riding with the team BobMasonBikers please see the link below where there is more information on the excellent work Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis are doing.
