Myself and a group of Barnabus staff, volunteers and supporting nurses are taking part in the Dragon Boat Race.

I've been working for Barnabus a Christian Charity in Manchester for 10 years, many people question charities motives but I'm proud to say that Barnabus have always put the needs, hopes and aspirations of our homeless friends first. 

Every month we support over 600 people helping them into emergency accommodation or on pathways and support into their own tenancies. We run skilled activities like our RENU upcycling furniture project to build skills, confidence and connect our friends into paid employment via our supporting corporate partners. We also offer healthcare, food, showers and a wide range of creative activities and an allotment.
