Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I am taking part in Try a Tri - a mini triathlon for women only on May 12th and would be so very grateful if you sponsored me. After years of not really exercising formally, last May (2018) I downloaded the Couch to 5K app and fell in love with running. I can honestly say that running has changed my life for the better, making me feel healthy and happy in all ways...

I am incredibly fortunate to have a job in music, my other love! And being a Monkey Music teacher has taught me just how powerful music can be for young children. So here I am combining my two loves (with a bit of swimming and cycling thrown in for good measure! Eeeek! Those bits will be way more challenging for me!) 

I will be taking part in the triathlon alongside a team of amazing women, all of them connected to Monkey Music in some way. I would be so grateful for any sponsorship, just £1 will make a difference.

- £5 will provide a tool for a non verbal child to be able to express themselves beyond words through something as simple as drumsticks

- £50 will pay for a child suffering from cancer to attend a music therapy session

- £250 will pay for a full day of music therapy in a dedicated centre

I’d really love for my part in the fundraising to provide four full days of music therapy, so my target is 1000!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, I hugely appareciate any donation towards this incredible charity.
