Both Sophie and I have had first hand experience of the crippling, magical, awful, inspiring ways mental health can affect our lives and the lives of those we love. Maintaining mental health is a challenge, more so for some than others, so what better way to raise money and awareness for those that do so much to help by challenging ourselves with a 50km ultramarathon up and down the Chiltern hills!

SANEline is the UK's only specialist mental health helpline supporting individuals, their families, friends and carers, open out of hours, 365 days a year. Contacting SANE doesn't end at the first call. For those in need of longer term help, referrals are made to their Caller Care team of experienced therapists who continue to provide guidance and psychological help through times of crisis.
