Thank you for visiting my page. I will be turning 33 at the end of this month. No one particularly likes getting a year older, but after the things we have seen and the stories we have heard whilst in hospital over the last 16 months, it truly makes you appreciate every single day of being alive.

There is nothing more important to me in life than my wonderful son, George Arthur Parkins, known to many as Super George, and his health and happiness.

Despite the horrific time we have been through, he is absolutely thriving and doing incredibly well.

Super George by name and nature. He’s a true fighter and a real life miracle.

In lieu of gifts and/or cards, I would be exceptionally grateful for any donations towards Super George’s Army Fundraising Appeal. No matter how small a donation, every single pound makes a real difference in helping to reach our ambitious £25,000 target. We have so far raised over £13,000 at the time of writing this, and I would love to get a step closer to helping other parents and families currently in NICU, and those who are yet to benefit from the amazing staff, nurses, doctors, consultants and facilities at the QMC. We are forever indebted to the hospital for our baby boy’s life.
