Story
Although December is a crazy busy month,, it’s also a time when it’s easy to spend a lot of time inside, complaining about the dark! I decided to take part in the December Daily Dash as I knew it’d be a challenge for my creaking knees, would get me outside, and allow me to have a good mosey at everyone’s Christmas lights! Being fairly new to the area, I also wanted to get involved with a local charitable event (the Daily Dash was set up by people in Cookham). Now that over half of the month is done and dusted, and I feel fairly confident that I can achieve the goal of running 5km every day in December, I’d like to start fundraising for the amazing Sue Ryder hospices, which provide end of life care to terminally ill people. The DDD team have already raised over £10.000, and I’d really like to do my bit now, and add to that figure!
