Fundraising for Meningitis Now
Story
Last year, on May 7th I ran the MK Half Marathon for Meningitis Now in Memory of my friend and colleague Phil Bate's little boy Joshua who passed away from Meningitis.
In September a group of Rightmovers completed Tough Mudder with Phil Bates for the same cause.
Now I am attempting to go whole hog and run the FULL Marathon for this amazing charity. So...
On the 6th May 2019 Rightmove will be sponsoring the MK Marathon and MK Half Marathon. We’re using this opportunity to raise money for a cause close to our hearts: Meningitis Now.
When one of our much loved colleagues tragically lost his 8-month son to meningitis back in December 2016, the team at Meningitis Now were a great support to him and his family. In memory of Joshua, and on behalf of our colleague and his family, we’re proud to support Meningitis Now.
Right now our team of over 50 brave runners are pounding the pavements, training for the marathon or half marathon, and raising money for this incredible cause. And they need you!
