Story
You tell yourself you’re lucky. Lucky to be healthy when friends and family are touched by insidious disease and illness.
We’ve all experienced it close up; I lost my Dad to lymphatic cancer when I was 6 yrs old, my husband lost one of his best friends to melanoma cancer at 32 and my sister had a cancer scare at 35.
You realise that life is fragile and there is so much need to get together and support people going through treatment.
In some small way I’d like to acknowledge and fundraise for “All Those Who Suffer”.
This ride is about that. It’s about a bunch of people doing something epic and hard and life affirming to recognise the struggle and the suffering of others.
I hope to share this experience and raise some much need funds for Cancer Treatment & Research and the Snowdome Foundation. I hope you can join in supporting me on this incredible ride.
