Firstly, I want to say thank you to everyone who has donated to MIND charity so far. This charity is a service that helps give support in many ways to those suffering from mental health problems, which I, myself has struggled with.
With the help of my family, the money for flight and expedition is covered. However, the purpose of my trip to Africa is to raise money for Mind through my efforts in climbing Kilimanjaro, which is the BIGGEST MOUNTAIN in Africa (almost 6000m high)! If any of you watched the BBC documentary for Comic relief, you will have seen just how difficult this is going to be. The money I ask you to donate is 100% to MIND charity.
Most of us know someone who have or at some time suffered from a mental illness and the provision of the right support at the right time can make such a difference to people’s chance of living meaningful and fulfilling lives and preventing suicide.

Most of my friends and family are more than aware of my own journey and I can personally vouch for the value of such support.

In September this year I embark on a 7 day slug of hiking, camping and climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro all with the aim of preventing suicide and allowing people to receive help easily.
I am appealing to all friends and people out there to contribute to my fund raising (thanks to all those lovely people who have already sponsored me), if not in support of my efforts, in support of those that need care.
