We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Bee-Stung Lips have pursed and pouted their way across Hertfordshire and the South East since being established in 2010 by the irresistible force that was John Cooney. In addition to various roofs they've also raised almost £100,000 for a number of local and national charities whilst indulging their collective mid-life crisis. Following JC's untimely departure from the stage they have chosen to support Blood Cancer UK in his memory and to continue "baldly playing other people's songs badly...."

Having been silenced for a period as another founding member John Blain, the band’s drumming (heart)beat, in a terrible coincidence, fought off a similar condition The Lips are now back to full volume.

They are, more than ever, proud to support this amazing charity and would like to thank you for your generous support.
