I'm doing the half marathon for three reasons:

1. As a life long Brummie I want to support and give back to the local community.
2. I would like to support my neighbour; a lovely lady who is the mother of two young children and sadly very ill with a terminal illness.
3. I'm getting old; I need to shed a few pounds and improve my fitness (from a base of pretty much zero).

NB: 50% of the amount raised is going to LoveBrum and 50% to my neighbour.
