If you'd told me just 6 months ago that I'd be running in the Birmingham Half Marathon this year, I'd have laughed and then carried on eating some cake. 

Yet somehow after a bit of blood, and lots of sweat (but no tears so far) I'm about to run my first ever half marathon. I'm loving every minute of it, but I'd love it even more if you could support my run with a small donation to LoveBrum. 

It's a fantastic charity that helps fund grassroots initiatives in Birmingham that might not otherwise get the support they need, and every penny raised goes directly to helping people in the city - including tackling the rise in homelessness.
