Story

Well the countdown is on! It is just 5 days to go until I take on another challenge for Caring Matters Now.

I am only just opening this page now as it's hard to ask again for donations, as all our family and friends have so generously donated in the past whenever Joe and I have participated in challenges to raise money for the charity we and Jodi set up to support and care for families like ourselves affected by CMN.

The charity has grown over the past 21 years in a way we could never have imagined and with that growth the need to continue to fund raise has increased accordingly and so if you feel able to donate once again it would be much appreciated by all the trustees and the families we support. Your donation would also help our charity to continue to fund the amazing work of the research team led by Dr Kinsler - they have discovered the cause and are now looking for a cure.

Thank you - Val

PS I am self-funding this challenge so 100% of all donations given will go directly into the work of our charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
