Being a teenager is hard but being a teenager with cancer is so much harder. Seven teenagers a day in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust is dedicated to improving the lives and outcomes for these young people.

This charity was supported by an amazing teenager, Jess,  throughout her treatment, and in whose memory her family continue to fund raise through events such as these. It is my honour to join them on the Teenage Cancer Trust 'Team Area 61' to take on Tough Mudder South West.

Joining me is my good friend Sarah Hale who seems to be up for any challenge I throw at her, and supporting us is my employer, Somerset Surgical Services who have kindly kicked off our fundraising.
