Why am I putting myself through another endurance event, I
should know better! Last year’s aches and pains were a distant memory when I signed up for the Barclays Wheels for Change 2018 event a few months ago. The event entails cycling 100km (approx 60miles) from the London Olympic Park Velodrome out through East London into Essex and back to the Velodrome. 

The event is raising money for the Princes’ Trust because it supports young people from disadvantaged background transform their lives so they can succeed in life. Many of the young people supported by the charity are either in or leaving care; facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems; or have been in trouble with the law. Please note that 3 in 4 will achieve a positive outcome moving into jobs, education and training.
