Story

Hello!

On Friday 14th September the LMAP Team will start the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of two charities  - Team Verrico and St.Barnabas.

This will take us up to Fort William in Scotland, where we begin by climbing Ben Nevis which, at 1,345m about sea level, is the highest peak in the UK. Next we head south to the Lake District where we will be met by Scafell Pike, the highest summit in England, standing at 978m. Finally, we travel down to Gwynedd in the Snowdonia National Park where our final mountain will be Snowdon, standing at 1,085m, before making our way home to Lincolnshire.

So, who's in the LMAP Team? Our youngest member is Bailey Atkin, who at 13, will probably be giving us all a run for our money! Kat and Andrew Atkin will be joining him (as his parent's, they probably should!), along with Michelle Stirling, Joe Haigh, Dan Scullion, Chris Ware & Gavin Charles.

So, with roughly 1045 road miles to cover, 21 hours of driving between sites, combined mountainous heights of 3408m of direct ascent and around 24miles or 39km of walking.....we would really, really appreciate any donations to make this trek worth it all!!

Oh, also, to keep costs right down so we can give as much to the charities as we can, we are organising this ourselves  - we aren't paying anyone to - we'll be sleeping either in the mini bus or under canvas and logging how we get on for you all to....enjoy?

Thank you for your support!
