Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having beaten cancer as an adult it is heartbreaking to see families suffering losing a child, or seeing their child go through the pain of cancer treatment. As an adult it is a traumatic experience, I cannot imagine how children and their families cope. I became a runner 5 years after beating cancer, wanting to make a difference for those battling cancer. I ran a marathon last year, wearing Theo's name on my back as he embarked on his second lot of treatment for Leukaemia. Sadly our little superhero gained his angel wings recently. This run is for him, remembering that he won't be fortunate enough to return to school this September. It is also for those other children who are still fighting their cancer battle as they return to school.
I am raising money for two charities, so I ask that if you could donate a small amount to both, this would be amazing. They are two charities closely connect with Theo, CLIC Sargent and Birmingham Children's Hospital.
I intend to run 17 miles between school and the children's hospital. Please join me on the route if you are able!
