Story
Software development teams aren’t usually known for being physically fit but we’ve decided to test our mettle on the Gherkin Challenge to raise money for the NSPCC!
For those that don’t know what the Gherkin challenge is, it involves running up the 1,037 steps of the 180m high (38 floor) Gherkin building in London.
The world record for this is 4 minutes and 18 seconds so we are all going to lead from the front and attempt to run it in under 6 minutes! (Maybe!)
It would be wrong of us to suggest donations = priority and faster turnaround on your change requests, but… it can’t hurt to try!!
For those of you that don’t know the NSPCC, they are the leading children’s charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those a risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
We’d all be really grateful for any donation received so please donate and help support this amazing cause.
