In October I will be walking alongside my very special friends to support this amazing charity. My very close friend's mother was diagnosed with dementia while in her early 50's. I have seen the impact that this has on her herself and her immediate family. Watching someone you grew up with gradually change is very hard and any support we can give both to the person suffering and the people it effects around them is vital. My husbands grandfather was also diagnosed and his state of mind decreased in a number of weeks.
