I will be attempting to finish this year's Ironman UK event on 15 July in Bolton.  The race comprises a 2.4mile swim, 112 mile (very) hilly bike ride followed by a marathon.  This may seem like a daunting challenge (it definitely does to me!!) but it pales in to insignificance when compared to the challenges my mate Steve Burne has faced.  I'm raising funds therefore for his fantastic charity, the Steve Burne Rooms, which is funding 5 new rooms at the Ronald McDonald House as well as other improvements.  Please do spare any funds you have for this great cause.
