Story

I got encouraged (coerced?) into this after I mentioned I thought this year of my Cardiac Physiology study at MMU had been pretty straight forward (having worked in the discipline for some time). After it came out I hated running, I was swiftly sent to the Manchester Metropolitan University Team orange page to do something about it, there you go, have a challenge - Great Manchester 10k. ugh.

I. HATE. RUNNING. Walking? Fine. Bodypump? Fine.  Running? All the no, no and no in the world. I feel like my limbs will drop off and my lungs will fall out

I work in a busy Tertiary Cardiac Centre in a department that carries out various Cardiac Investigations and seems right that I should at use this pain to raise funds for HEART OF GOLD, which is our Cardiac Charity under the Blue Skies Umbrella. I regulary use equipment that the Charities have funded to help benefit the patients and see the work first hand that Blue Skies and the volunteering team do, and it will be great to help them continue this work.

Even if my lungs fall out and a leg drops off.
