Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It’s time to don my walking boots and join my cousin Denise and her team of walkers to raise more funds to support  research at the University of Nottingham where they are undertaking more research into breast cancer. They have three clear aims:

Detect it early

Stop it spread

Treat it right

If only this had been possible 30 years ago when my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. In those days there was just the radical mastectomy route. Sadly, my Mum lost not only her left breast, but her life, just under 5 years later: bone, liver and lymp cancer had riddled her body.

I hope and pray that this research will lead to a much better outcome for the breast cancer sufferers of the future. Please help me to help them and sponsor me whatever you can!
