Fundraising for Stand Up To Cancer - a Cancer Research UK campaign
Story
MY STORY
This is gonna be the toughest most testing thing I've ever done. Anyone who knows me knows that Cancer is something very close to my heart. My mam (on the left above after 6 rounds of chemo) SURVIVED stage 3 Cancer but there are STILL TOO MANY that arent so lucky.
I KNOW FIRST HAND how devastating it is to both the sufferers and their families and I wanna do my bit to eradicate this disgusting disease.
I know times are tight but I would appreciate ANY donation (Even £1 would be great. It all adds up!) to help me on my way. I will be eternally grateful.
I am part of a team of 12 women - from all different backgrounds, different parts of the country, different fitness levels and different motivations for taking on this challenge.
The one thing we all have in common though is our commitment and motivation to raise money for various charities. I have chosen SU2C as it is a cause very close to my heart.
None of us have any snow sport experience - in fact, our only experience in snow has been the Beast from the East!
We will be Snow Shoeing, Cross country skiing and Husky sledding in the northern lost part of Finland to raise money for our chosen charities
